One of the easiest things to do is eat. Seriously, how hard is it to swallow and chew? Not really all that difficult, right? No real thought processes are necessary when it comes to the act of consumption. Not only do you get to indulge in a delicious meal, but you get to sit, take a break, and relax. Basic tasks made appetizing! Eating truly is a wonderful, low-maintenance thing, and that is why we love it so. The only hard thing about eating is eating healthy. And yes, it can be hard. Is it hard for everyone? No, it’s not; but I speak for the people who are busy. I speak for the job jugglers. I speak for the working parents. I speak for the malnourished college students. I speak for those who want to eat healthy and clean so their busy lifestyles can be maintained.
Unfortunately, these people (myself included) don’t have time to cook. And dining out repetitively is unacceptable. I mean, we don’t know the exact ingredients, why on earth would we want to eat that? Eating clean is very specific. For those who don’t know what clean-eating is, clean-eating is a lifestyle, not a diet. When one eats clean, they eat the freshest, nutrient-dense foods possible. These foods are free from refined and processed ingredients. Gluten, corn, sugar, and soy are out of the question. Organic products and grass-fed meats are preferred, but not everyone (myself included lol) can afford that.
So why should we eat clean you ask? Why shouldn’t we is really the question. I’m not a nutritionist, but I can honestly say this clean-eating lifestyle I’ve adopted has supported my ability to manage my erratic schedule of owning and operating a business, teach fitness classes, and raise my son single-handedly. This requires energy. Proper foods are required to fuel that energy. The quality of our lives depends on what we eat. And if a top-shelf life is what you seek, then eating clean is really your only option. And how great would it be to have cooked meals in your fridge, ready to be heated up and eaten?! I’m going to teach you how to cook clean and have your meals prepared for the week. Here’s a few surefire recipes that will keep you satisfied and feeling great!
